Some
departments have been provided with a shopping trolley feature will
be administered under the Locomotive Model Shop name for final
checkout at PayPal. In time most departments will have the shopping
trolley feature and a buyer will be able to wander from department
to department using the same shopping trolley and one fee for post &
packing. Where there is
a special need to provide an invoice for an item that can not be
done with the shopping trolley we still use PayPal but we send an
email requesting payment via PayPal.
One does not need a PayPal account to shop with us for in the
checkout stage Paypal can now take payment with a standard
credit card from buyers who have not or prefer not to register
with them. We use Paypal because it is much faster than
payment by cheque or postal order and the buyer who is registered
with Paypal has additional protection by not having to reveal his or
her credit card details for every web purchase.
